Today’s Fuelling Athlete and Coaching Excellence (FACE) Friday athlete knows a little something about hitting targets: it’s Archery competitor Natalee Chan! As a full-time student with a part-time job, Natalee is using her FACE grant to spend less time working and more time at the range. At 19, she’s currently the youngest athlete on the senior national team and hopes to compete in the Olympic Games one day; we’re proud to help support her on the way. // L'athlète du programme Favoriser les athlètes et les entraîneurs à la conquête de l'excellence (FACE) de ce vendredi sait comment atteindre la cible : c'est l'archère Natalee Chan! Étudiante à temps plein avec un emploi à temps partiel, Natalee utilise sa bourse FACE pour passer moins de temps au travail et plus de temps au champ de tir. À 19 ans, elle est présentement la plus jeune athlète au sein de l'équipe nationale senior, et elle espère prendre part aux Jeux olympiques un jour; nous sommes fiers de l'aider dans son parcours.

For our Site Spotlight, we’re featuring two Ontario Petro-Canada locations, 638 County Road 41, R.R. #6 in Napanee and 1586 Cenntenial Drive in Kingston. Patty Price, one of our Petro-Canada site operators, has had quite the journey with us. Starting as a Gas Service Attendant (GSA) 25 years ago, she has now been running two Petro-Canada locations as Site Owner for 13 and 16 years, respectively.   We’re so grateful for Patty’s dedication and customer service, plus the hard work she brings every day to her Petro-Canada sites as well as the community and guests she serves. Thank you, Patty!

Our team participated in Truck World Show this year, Canada’s largest commercial transportation event! With over 500 exhibitors and over 15,000 people in attendance, it was a monumental experience that we won’t forget. We’re excited that our valued partnership with A&W Food Services of Canada Inc. continues to grow! Over the coming years, we’re working on welcoming guests to up to 100 new A&W locations at Petro-Canada sites across Canada; this will build on the 76 restaurants currently in our network. Since 1997, when we opened the first A&W at Petro-Canada, our customers have enjoyed nearly 30 years of great-tasting burgers, onion rings and frosty root beers. Canadians love the value and convenience; we love our relationship with A&W! // Nous sommes heureux que notre précieux partenariat avec A&W Canada continue de grandir! Au cours des prochaines années, nous voulons accueillir des invités dans jusqu'à 100 nouveaux restaurants A&W aux établissements Petro-Canada à l'échelle du Canada; ils s'ajoutent aux 76 restaurants actuellement dans notre réseau. The Petro-Canada CareMakers Foundation is proud to support UHN Foundation, a recipient of their National Grant program. The funding provided by CareMakers will go towards the development of an online Caregiver Training Platform to support family caregivers transitioning from the hospital to the home setting. On hand to present the grant on behalf of CareMakers were Leila Fenc, Executive Director, and Ibukun Adewale, Specialist Marketing Advisor - Petro-Canada Community Involvement. CareMakers’ National and Local Grant programs provide funding to organizations across Canada to strengthen the resources available for family caregivers.
