Olympic Celebration Mixer

Get into the spirit of the Olympics at this special event!
Location: Archie Browning Arena, 1151 Esquimalt Rd. Next to the Country Grocer shopping plaza and MacDonalds. The entrance to the arena is located on the curling rink side, there is a door clearly marked or you can enter through the main entrance. There will be signage and arena staff on hand to guide you upstairs to the curling lounge.
Parking: Behind the arena on the curling rink side. There are 600 parking spots available. Please do not park in the shopping plaza parking lot.
Participation Details: In addition to the usual networking opportunities our mixers provide, party goers will have the chance to try their hand at a truly Canadian sport, Curling! Members from the Esquimalt Curling Club will be on hand to give pointers to those wanting to participate. Participants are reminded to bring indoor running shoes and appropriate clothing. On the arena side, the local figure skating and speed skating club will have their practice open to viewers. As well, all Chamber members and guests have been invited to watch the Cougars Minor Hockey team as they play their last game of the season. Complimentary tickets will be provided to those wanting to stay for the game at 7:15pm. One lucky attendee will receive two weekend passes to the Victoria Curling Classic. Cash bar and appetizer buffet.
Please note special mixer time, 4:30 p.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Chamber mixers are a member benefit. Non-members are welcome to attend one mixer as our guest while you consider joining the Chamber.The distribution of promotional material such as brochures, pamphlets and promotional items at mixer events is the privilege of the host only.
