Mr. Anderson will talk about the new strategic direction that’s taking WorkSafeBC to 2010 and beyond, how the organization is working to make a difference in our attitudes about health and safety, and the ways in which WorkSafeBC can benefit BC’s employers and workers.

WorkSafeBC serves more than two million workers and approximately 179,000 employers, and pays in excess of $1 billion in benefits each year, paid for by employers. WorkSafeBC is committed to being a catalyst of change, transforming societal attitudes so work-related injuries and illness are not an inevitable and acceptable cost of doing business in British Columbia.
