Event Description: “Help us…Help Others!” The Salvation Army in Victoria is now accepting corporate sponsors for our 2016 Christmas Kettle program. Sponsorship is $500 per kettle for the duration of the season at various locations throughout the greater Victoria area. With approximately 40 locations to choose from, we know there is a location for you. Sponsorship funds will go towards the Kettle Campaign which provides vital funding for both our Christmas and year round programming. Money collected through the Kettles stays in the community it is donated in and helps us to provide assistance to people locally. Your sponsorship funds will be directed to The Salvation Army’s Stan Hagen Centre for Families. Last year the Stan Hagen Centre provided over 2000 families with Christmas hampers and 400+ families with approx.15000 toys which is in addition to the approximately 1,000 people who come to us on a monthly basis. Without the kettle funds, we would struggle to provide assistance to the most vulnerable in our community. Your “Sponsorship” sign measuring 6”X8” will have the phrase “This Kettle has been sponsored by” and your company Logo/Branding/Name. The Kettle Campaign starts in November 24 and runs until Dec 24 giving your company approximately 6 weeks of public acknowledgment in high traffic shopping destinations. Kettle Sponsorship will show that your company believes in corporate responsibility through community giving and you are committed to helping those in need through the work of The Salvation Army.
