As business owners our ‘shadow’ is our own capacity to grow our businesses. Everything must be done but we cannot do it all. The sleepless nights, the hours away from family and friends, the risk, and the financial investment… the true costs of growing a small business are tremendous. We are limited by our experience, skill level, energy level, pair of hands, and 24 hours. So how do we get past all that, beyond ourselves, to grow an enterprise that thrives independently of us? The answer is to grow the business through three cycles: 1. The Current Cycle –growing sales while growing the business using synergy and priority management. 2. The Growth Cycle – mastering the art of delegation, recruiting, and team building. 3. The Enterprise Cycle – deciding between selling, expansion (including franchising), or passive income options. Do that right and you will build an enterprise-scale business that gives back more than you put in. This Thinkshop will show you how. There are four foundational elements required to build an enterprise-scale business. We will explore 4 engines of growth: 1. Grow your market. How to maximize sales and the value of sales. 2. Grow your team. How to delegate and recruit for maximum value to your business: faster growth and less stress. 3. Grow your system. Develop robust systems to grow productively, effectively, and sustainably. 4. Improve your financial health. Learn some of the tips and tricks of good cash flow, profitability, and leveraged capital.
