Event Description: Orange Your Workplace is a free forum bringing together local employers, police members and local service providers. This event is intended to inform employers about violence against women in the Greater Victoria Region, its impacts in the workplace, workplace safety obligations and community resources for employees. Additionally, an Orange Day Toolkit is designed to help Orange Your Workplace the 25th of every month, and show opposition to violence against women will be given to attendees. "Orange Day" is a United Nations campaign to raise awareness and show opposition to violence against women. Leadership Victoria's Community Leadership Development Program provides a hands-on opportunity each year for small groups to practice community leadership through Community Action Projects. This invitation has been extended to you in the hopes that you will attend and/or share the Orange Your Workplace event with your business or organization contacts.
