Event Description: This 12 session introductory course explores the three-dimensional draping approach to executing basic garment design. Fundamental draping procedures and the importance of grain, balance and construction will be covered. While practicing design development techniques on the dress form, students develop a sense of fit, proportion, silhouette, and style. *This course has been designed for those with some prior garment construction experience. No previous draping experience is necessary. Course Length: 6 weeks long, 36 hours instructional time. Start Date: Tuesday, February 3rd, 2015 Time: Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30pm-8:30pm Fee: $495.00
