Event Description: Learn your way around the Macintosh operating system, and Vectorworks software, one of the most widely used CAD programs in the building design industry. Students will learn drawing setup, the use of walls, parametric doors and windows, 2D geometries, dimensioning and annotation, classes, 2D and symbols and controlled duplication. Basic building construction theory will also be covered. Finishing project will include designing part of a residential home and deck. Prior computer experience and strong electronic file management skills are highly recommended for success in this course. Course Length:6 weeks long, 36 hours instructional time. Start Date: Monday, October 20th, 2014 Time: Mondays & Wednesdays 5:30pm-8:30pm Fee: $495.00
