Event Description: Tall ships Lady Washington, the official ship of the State of Washington, and her companion ship, the Hawaiian Chieftain, will sail into Port Ludlow’s Ludlow Bay on August 6, staying until August 7. Public tours of the ships will be available from 12-5PM on each of the days at the Port Ludlow Marina. In addition, the ships have scheduled two evening sailing excursions. The two-hour Evening Sails feature a living history experience with demonstrations of tall ship handling, sea shanty singing, and maritime storytelling. Tickets are $33. Purchase tickets online at HistoricalSeaport.org or call 800-200-5239. While visiting Port Ludlow, enjoy a special farm to table dinner at the waterfront Fireside Restaurant at the Port Ludlow Inn before or after you sail. Reservations recommended.
