Event Description: Protecting your Assets! Non-profits, Volunteers and Financial Management A simple guide to protecting your organization’s financial assets Join us for this two hour seminar outlining simple and practical ways you can help your organization protect its financial assets from error, fraud and misuse. You will leave this session with concrete and immediately useable advice and processes to help your organization safeguard its valuable assets and even more valuable reputation. With over 25 years’ experience, Susan Lucato, CPA, CGA has a specialized practice providing consulting and accounting services to non-profits, charities and small businesses who need sound financial advice, practical day to day management strategies and part-time controllership / director of finance services. She previously worked as the Director of Finance for the Victoria Foundation and as a Senior Manager with Grant Thornton Chartered Accounts. She is an active volunteer in our community and a rare born and bred Victorian! www.susanlucato.com About the Venue: This workshop will be held at the Victoria Foundation Board Room, suite 130. Parking after 6pm is free for street parking, or $2 for the evening after 6pm in a City Parkade (View st or Yates st are nearest).
