Event Description: On this tour you will take a step back in time and learn how early seafaring explorers got on without GPS and other gadgets! As you imagine how life on board a ship would be, you will have a chance to touch and feel navigational equipment – like the sextant and chronometer – from our educational collection. This tour will also incorporate Captain Cook’s connection to the Vancouver Island and get down and dirty with his tragic end. Included in admission.


Directions:
Located in Bastion Square between Government and Wharf St. Closest parking is City of Victoria parkade on Yates which is right behind the Museum.
