Event Description: Course Description: Participants will learn: - The principles of joint design and reliability - The “nuts n’ bolts” of Nuts and Bolts - Torque vs. tension - The concept of “gasket load” as a bolting goal - Proper selection and installation of gaskets (“S.T.A.M.P.”) - Familiarization with industrial bolting tools - The pros and cons of various bolting methodology - Assembly procedures and bolting patterns - Work planning and preparation (tools, hardware, bolting plans, safety checklists) - Hands-on practical work – not just classroom talk! This course will focus on technical classroom based learning in one room and practical hands on learning in another room. Students will learn in both rooms ensure technical and practical learning. Includes: Catered lunch, individual training certificate, personal course manual, free access to computer-based refresher training, company access to advanced bolting references Authorized by the U.S. OSHA Training Institute (OTI Course 7110) and conforms to the latest ASME standards.
