Event Description:
Join Miles Craig, former VP of the family-owned Craig Broadcasting, for a thought-provoking breakfast presentation as he discusses drug & alcohol misuse - and how temperance can improve the quality of life in our city, province and country. CTF is a contemporary temperance organization. We do not advocate or support the prohibition of alcohol. We are a secular organization in that we do not promote any specific religion. CTF invites fellow Chamber Members to this free informational breakfast meeting - Breakfast will be served at 7:30 a.m. sharp. The presentation will begin at 8:00 a.m. and will be followed by a lively question and answer session. The breakfast and presentation will finish at 8:45 a.m. Learn why the misuse of alcohol and drugs is among the largest social problems which we face as a city, as a province, and as a country. Learn how temperance, defined as voluntary restraint or abstinence in the use of alcohol and drugs can improve the quality of your life and that of your family, and help to create a better city, province and country.
