MakeSpace is a neighbourhood hub where people can learn, make, and build confidence using shared tools and creative spaces. We are a project of the MakeSpace For Art Society, a registered BC non-profit.

We are located at 2150 Quadra Street, FabLab is around the corner at 895 Princess Ave.

We are building a space for everyone – and especially those who are often shut out of workshops and studios due to cost, culture, or access. Through welcoming onboarding, mentorship, and human-scale production spaces — plus a community café as a front door — we help people feel capable, connected, and supported, whether their goal is learning, belonging, or building economic pathways close to home.
