Rosehips Midwifery is a team of experienced Registered Midwives living and working on the beautiful territory of the Lekwungen-speaking people/Greater Victoria, B.C. We provide holistic, evidence-based postpartum care to new families from birth to six weeks after delivery.

- Postpartum midwifery care for 6 weeks after delivery.

- Frequent visits in the hospital, at home, and in clinic.

- Clinical assessments for you: For example, blood pressure checks, and vaginal birth or caesarean section recovery checks.

- Clinical assessments for babies: For example, weight checks, newborn heart screening, newborn metabolic screening, physical exams, feeding assessments, and milestone checks.

- Infant feeding support from an Internationally Board-Certified Lactation Consultant.

- Lab tests, prescriptions, and referrals

- Pap tests, Contraception, and Sex Education

- Mental health and adjustment check-ins for the whole family.

- Safe care for all types of families, including families whose babies need extra support in the NICU, queer and trans families, adoptive families, and surrogate/intended parents.
