A gateway between Victoria's urban core and the growing West Shore municipalities, View Royal is a vibrant community. View Royal is home to over 10,400 residents and is continuing to grow. 

The Town is committed to fostering economic expansion to achieve a balanced, sustainable tax base. Particular attention is paid to further development of existing commercial nodes and in the creation of new ones to provide a range of services for residents in localized areas. The intent is to provide greater exposure for businesses to non-residents as well as to reduce vehicle usage and to improve convenience for local residents.
