Genesis Canada launched as a stand-alone luxury brand in 2016. Genesis built its foundation with the Hyundai brand between 2008 and 2015 and was very well received. In 2016 however, the time came to separate the brand and elevate it to compete solely in the luxury segment. Since then, Genesis has delivered 3 extraordinary luxury sedans that have surpassed all expectations. The Genesis brand is being introduced to Vancouver Island by the Kot Auto Group, a family owned and operated company that is based out of Kelowna. The company’s namesake, John Kot has built a successful business based on ensuring that every guest receives an unparalleled experience. He has taken the 5 other stores that he, his sons, and daughter run and turned them into incredibly successful businesses that occupy 4 different cities in British Columbia.
