Pacifica Housing is a Registered Canadian Charity (CRN: 122654999 RR0001) and is one of Vancouver Island’s largest operators and providers of affordable homes and supportive services. We provide affordable homes to more than 2,500 individuals and families in Greater Victoria and Nanaimo and serve over 200 people in the wider community.
Pacifica Housing provides over 1,400 units of quality, affordable independent and supportive housing across Greater Victoria and Nanaimo, including some designated for geriatric specialty seniors. Our housing portfolio includes subsidized rental, supportive and reduced-market units. Additionally, Pacifica Housing runs the Downtown Outreach and Housing Resource Services program which provides drop-in advocacy, housing and financial navigation services for those who are homeless or at-risk of homelessness.
Members of Pacifica Housing’s outreach team also work with other community service providers to provide encampment outreach, Indigenous outreach and landlord liaison services. Additionally, the wider team delivers the incredibly successful Streets to Homes program, which provides supportive services to individuals with a history of chronic homelessness living in the private rental market.
