Since 2000, KidSport Greater Victoria has raised and distributed funds to ensure financial barriers don’t keep local kids from accessing the benefits of organized sport.  Funds raised locally are used locally, to support kids throughout the Capital Regional District to access sport with any of roughly 200 eligible local sport organizations.  KidSport Greater Victoria is a licensed local chapter of the national charitable organization KidSport Canada, and is the largest local chapter in the province, supporting roughly 1400 children a year, with over $500,000 in registration fees annually.
