We feed people.

Rainbow Kitchen is a registered charity providing a multitude of programs, activities and support services as well as a nutritious hot lunch each weekday. Everyone welcome: no questions asked; family-friendly. With all our programs combined we serve the equivalent of nearly 100,000 meals per year! This exponential meal count includes but is not limited to; Rainbow Kitchen’s hot breakfast & hot lunch programs, FREE Esquimalt Youth Dinners and our many Food Share partners including other agencies and schools. We are a hub for social interaction, community engagement and food sustainability for those in need within the Greater Victoria Area. We are open to the public Monday-Friday from 8 am to 1 pm and closed weekends and statutory holidays (except Thanksgiving and Christmas). We are a safe place for families, individuals living with mental wellness, the working poor, persons living in isolation or simply anyone in need of social interaction or access to fresh and healthy food. We are more than just a community kitchen or a ‘soup kitchen’ – we are family.
