Swan Lake Christmas Hill Nature Sanctuary Society stewards 170 acres of wetland and oak meadow habitat just 6km from the centre of Victoria. With tremendous Indigenous cultural value, the Nature Sanctuary is critical habitat for endangered species, and represents a gathering place to reset, and to share, learn and practice ecological stewardship skills. Since our inception as charitable non-profit in 1975, we have continued as key leaders in environmental education and programming - our annual native plant sale is Vancouver Island's largest!
