The Victoria Pride Society is a dynamic, volunteer-driven organization committed to empowering Greater Victoria's 2SLGBTQIA+ communities. With a fervent belief in equity and liberation, we champion visibility, collaboration, and celebration to create a society free from marginalization, discrimination, and oppression. Our vision is rooted in compassion, dialogue, and coalition-building, uniting allies and communities facing challenges of discrimination. We honor the traditional territories of the Lekwungen, Songhees, Esquimalt, and W̱SÁNEĆ peoples, acknowledging the impact of colonialism and its role in systemic discrimination against Indigenous Peoples.

Join us in our mission to advocate for diverse sexual and gender identities, ensuring the protection and celebration of individuals who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, asexual, and Two-Spirit. Through signature events like the Victoria Pride Festival, year-round programming for youth, and a hub for local queer community events, services, and news, we create spaces for connection and empowerment. Our initiatives include the VPS Mentorship Program, OutWite eZine, and the VPS Local Queer Owned Business Directory, supporting local businesses and advocating against ongoing discrimination. Together, we can build a future where everyone is celebrated and valued for who they are.
