Juniper Law was founded by Kendra Marks (they/she) in 2023. Kendra is a lawyer practising on Lək̓ʷəŋən and W̱SÁNEĆ territories and she primarily offers services in the areas of family law and child protection, including queer and fertility-related family law. Juniper Law also provides some personal and estate planning documents, including wills, powers of attorney, and representation agreements.
Kendra’s focus is to resolve family matters as compassionately and pragmatically as possible, working to minimize conflict and effect timely resolutions, all while keeping clients’ – and children’s – best interests in mind. She is experienced at representing clients in negotiation, mediation, arbitration, and court, and she regularly appears at the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia. Kendra is an apprentice member of the Collaborative Family Law Group, the Victoria Bar Association, and the Canadian Bar Association.
