Island EHS

Island Environmental Health and Safety Ltd. (Island EHS) offers health and safety services and training to institutional, commercial and residential clients. Our services include asbestos testing of construction materials, air monitoring for asbestos, and asbestos air clearances, all done in our lab using the National Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (NIOSH) method 9002. We can also complete hazardous materials surveys (hazmat surveys), consult on abatement projects, and maintain asbestos and hazardous materials inventories for multi-unit residential and commercial spaces. Homeowners and contractors use our asbestos testing services before starting a renovation or a demolition project to avoid costly delays and asbestos exposure.

Island EHS also offers diverse health and safety testing and consulting beyond asbestos, including mould and fungal testing, lead paint testing, indoor air quality testing, and industrial hygiene training such as confined space training, safe work procedures, safety program design and specialty services.
