Vancouver Island Counselling Centre for Immigrants and Refugees (VICCIR) is a mental health charity located in Victoria, British Columbia, that exclusively serves refugees of all ages who are survivors of displacement, war or migration and are suffering from the psychological and emotional wounds of trauma and loss, and for immigrants in need of mental health support. We strive to de-stigmatize mental health needs and professional assistance as VICCIR’s goal is to reduce the symptoms of trauma and increase healthy coping strategies.
