Braefoot Community Association is committed to fostering an environment that is conducive to the holistic development of youth and children, encompassing their intellectual, social, emotional, and physical well-being. Central to our mission is the promotion of an active and healthy lifestyle, believing that this can only be achieved through a nurturing environment that encourages youth to make positive contributions to the community.

Braefoot Community Association firmly holds the belief that access to education, sports and outdoor activities should be inclusive and accessible to all, irrespective of their abilities and backgrounds. Braefoot is dedicated to bridging the gap for children and their families to ensure success for youth in their development. In alignment with this aspiration, BCA has remained in continuous operation for over 35 years. Our programming, including but not limited to Daycare, Out of School Care, Preschool, and Summer Camps, embodies our dedication to ensuring that every youth, regardless of their circumstances, can partake in enriching experiences in the realm of sports and the outdoors.

Furthermore, every year the Braefoot Community Association awards outstanding young adults in our community with bursaries and hosts Family Fun events to bring the community together for a day of uplifting activities for children and families free of any costs. To date, Braefoot has awarded over 375 bursaries to post-secondary students and has established a bursary fund of over $375,000.
