We are an Indigenous-owned consulting group that works with Indigenous and local communities in Canada and beyond to provide high quality research, policy, planning, mapping, negotiation, and advisory services. Our work focuses on culture, health, socio-economics, ecology, and governance to support the rights and interests of Indigenous communities. Firelight was founded in 2009 by its board of directors, with the aim of providing services specifically tailored to supporting the rights and interests of Indigenous and local communities in Canada and beyond. Firelight is 65% First Nation owned, and we now have more than 50 employees, and offices in West Vancouver, Vancouver, Victoria, and Edmonton.
