Optima Living's community leadership teams are currently immersed in the first half of their inspiring Leadership Summit Retreat at the stunning Hilton Whistler Resort & Spa. The opening session was a journey of imagination led by Cailey Massey, Founder of Artfull Enrichment Inc., whose presentation ignited our spirits. Principals Farid Damji, Karim Kassam, and Ali Shivji set the stage, challenging leadership to embark on their transformative journey. Bob Kallonen's session on Timeless Leadership provided valuable insights, while Oliver Baezner of Sonic Breakthrough Coaching presented a challenging session on Effective Communication and Inspired Leadership. Throughout the day, General Managers shared inspiring stories from their teams and communities that exemplified the core values of Optima Living. These personal anecdotes provided a heartwarming glimpse into how our leaders and teams live these values every day at Optima Living. What a fascinating article! Emily Nash, a Canadian 🍁 teenager, is giving the gift of hope in dementia research with her Highly Superior Autobiographical Memory (HSAM). This rare ability allows Emily to recall every day of her life in vivid detail, offering researchers a unique opportunity to study memory in ways previously unimagined.  This research could bring forth innovative care strategies greatly benefiting those facing memory challenges. Thirteen of Optima Living’s thirty-nine residences support the memory care needs of seniors in Western Canada.
