- Yew Fong LimSeptember 10, 2016This place is amazing. You would need the whole afternoon to stroll through the different style of gardens and enjoy them. Stay till the evening to enjoy a different ambient lighting environment.
- Nathan MuellerAugust 3, 2016Italian garden is very scenic, an almost Roman look really brings out the color of the flowers. Make sure to bring money for ice cream and don't forget to try out the tea! It's truly upper class 😏
- BeverlyJuly 21, 2013Tea service at the main dining room is wonderful. If weather is nice, ask for an outdoor table when reserving. Enjoyed their flight of wines accompanying tea service - nicely paired!
- Elizabeth FernandezOctober 23, 2016Check it out in the fall. The colors are stunning. Even with the rain we absolutely loved it. They provided umbrellas. Go to the coffee shop on the way out to warm up by the fireplace.
- Richard LillisAugust 13, 2015If you're going here and taking a ferry be sure to get on the first ferry of the day because it's going to be super crowded by the time the second ferry lands.
- Roberto Bruder AguiarOctober 12, 2017The colors in this place are unbelievable! I can spend a whole day here and be amazed with each small flower!
- Brian YamanakaJuly 22, 2012The highlight is the sunken garden. Go in the late afternoon, have dinner and then go back to the sunken garden for the night walk. The fireworks are county fair not Disney bring a blanket to sit on.
- Andra NicoaraAugust 11, 2013The fireworks show on Saturdays (during summer) is a must see! Fireworks combined with orchestra music are a great way to spend the evening. Bring a blanket :)
- Alec RemingtonDecember 17, 2017Awesome during the winter, fun to see what they do with the lights. Food at the cafe is subpar and expensive so bring a snack.
- Roula HannaJune 28, 2015Beautiful gardens and a must see while in Victoria. Can be overcrowded in the afternoon.
- British Columbia Visitor Centre @ Peace ArchMarch 18, 2013Stop into the AMAZING gardens for a classic Victoria experience! People come from all over the world to see the huge collection of flowers here.
- Cynthia LinAugust 5, 2016So beautiful here! Rare geographical area where so many types of flowers can all thrive
- Paulo PuglisiMarch 31, 2016Must stop here. Be prepared for a wonderful display of nature... And also be ready to pay a lot for it.
- Mike SugimotoJuly 20, 2018The display of floral is amazing. My wife and daughter love coming here every time we visit Victoria, BC.
- if you're a local get a season pass, dropping in for a walk with your dog to listen to music in the summer is awesome... and try the hot chocolate!

- Bryan ClarkJuly 13, 2014The fireworks (summer Saturdays @~10 pm) are great - just hold your place with a blanket by about 7:00pm!
- Jon B.August 9, 2016A bit crowded, being a top tourist attraction for Victoria, but the colors were breathtaking
- If you love photography, the best time of day for a visit and best pictures is early!!! Soft light, and a nice dew on the leaves and petals. Beat the daytime rush too!
- Erika BJuly 30, 2017Love the fireworks show Saturday nights, and the gardens are gorgeous at the end of the day.

- Mark YagerAugust 15, 2010If you want a seat at the fireworks, bring a warm blanket to sit on and set it up at least 2 hrs prior to show, then walk the gardens and get back to the blanket 30mins before fireworks start
- Make sure you visit the Japanese garden, the view of Todd inlet at the bottom is amazing!
- Holger LüdorfJune 30, 2012Not my cup of tea. Pretty cheesy and the Japanese garden was definitely not traditional. Especially at $30 per person, you really want to be into turn-of-the-century gardening to enjoy this.
- You can come back the next day for just $4! Or get a seasons pass... It's worth it
- Kristina RoyAugust 18, 2014All around beautiful. Fireworks in the summer. 12 days of Christmas in the winter.
